RMI

Classes

The founders of RMI took great time and used careful thought when determining what classes would be offered. As it was to be an international, multi-cultural school, classes needed to be offered that would apply to wizards and witches across the globe. The purpose of RMI was to teach the young folk of the world, and so the founders chose a vast array of classes to be taught at their school. Today, there are six core classes required up to and through Year Three. At the end of Year Three, the students take their STOATs and choose a career path based on their results. In Year Seven they take the culminating tests of their magical careers (IMPs), although some students choose to take subject-specific IMPs early and take TOADs, a more advanced test, their seventh year. Any student with a question about his or her schedule should make an appointment to see Garen Tennant, the guidance counselor.
